How JobTeaser Improved Employee Performance and Development with Elevo

Before Elevo
Maud Bourdrez joined JobTeaser in January 2021 as HR Manager for the tech, product, and innovation departments. At the time, the HR team was in the process of switching tools and overhauling its processes.
The main priorities for the HR team were to:
• Build and stabilize an HR calendar that would serve as a clear reference point for employees, centered around key milestones (evaluations, compensation, training, etc.)
• Incorporate new HR processes into this calendar
• Enable employees and managers to take ownership of these new initiatives
• Implement a new compensation philosophy, shifting from short-term performance-based assessments to evaluations grounded in employee development
• Secure a dedicated time for assessing training needs in order to link them directly to the company’s training plan.
Among all these priorities, running performance and development review cycles was a critical task. However, the HR team was still using Excel—a tool that had become outdated and non-compliant with GDPR requirements.
More broadly, relying on Excel meant:
• A lack of ergonomics
• No efficient data collection for the HR team, making it impossible to extract actionable insights to drive impactful initiatives (e.g., training, mobility, workload and well-being monitoring)
• Limited tracking of both employee and manager performance and development
• A lack of flexibility and agility in setting goals throughout the year
• No capability for digital signatures from either managers or employees.
Given the need to modernize and professionalize their performance and development processes, JobTeaser’s HR team began looking for a dedicated performance and talent management platform. Elevo quickly emerged as the right fit.
Why JobTeaser Chose Elevo
The HR team at JobTeaser turned to Elevo because the solution met their technical, operational, and managerial needs:
• Integration with their HRIS – ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Electronic signatures – removing the need for manual signing and ensuring legal compliance.
• Improved data management – enabling reliable storage, retrieval, and analysis of review data.
• A complete tool enabling concrete actions – not just a storage platform, but a system to trigger follow-ups and development plans.
• Better tracking of performance, goals, and development – for both employees and managers.
• Centralization of reviews in one place – with clear visibility on each employee’s history.
• 360° feedback campaign management – integrated directly into the platform.
“I met Esther, our Customer Success Associate, at the end of January 2021 and, shortly after, we launched our first campaign! Everything happened at record speed. I had never managed a project so quickly.”

Implementing Elevo: Driving Organizational Change
For JobTeaser, implementing the Elevo solution meant much more than simply digitizing HR processes: with Elevo, the HR team introduced and democratized new practices in performance and development management.
“We didn’t just deploy a tool — we also redesigned our process through Performance and Development Reviews. We carried out real change management, not just the technical rollout of a platform. We explained to our employees what fell under performance and what fell under development, because they didn’t necessarily have those concepts in mind — or, for them, they were very much intertwined."

To ensure this change was understood and embraced across the organization, the HR team created a group of Elevo ambassadors made up of eight managers from various departments. This group works regularly with HR on building templates, voicing concerns, suggesting improvements, and fully adopting the tool.
In addition, the ambassador group plays a key role as a communication bridge: they act as go-to contacts within their departments, allowing employees to raise questions or concerns about the upcoming changes.
JobTeaser Campaigns on Elevo
This change management approach quickly materialized through the launch of several campaigns on Elevo.

The Benefits of Elevo for JobTeaser
The change management efforts led by JobTeaser’s HR team, executed through the Elevo platform, have brought multiple positive impacts to the organization.
Benefits for Employees and Managers
The Benefits for the HR Team
• Time Savings in Feedback Management
Before Elevo, managers had to chase employees via email or Slack to get feedback on specific individuals. With Elevo, reminders are automated, making the process far easier for both HR and managers.
• Better Career Management
"Elevo helps us identify much more easily than before the people who want to move, broaden their scope, switch departments, or take on a managerial role. Thanks to Elevo, we’ve been able to detect these aspirations. Now, we can take the time to support employees expressing a short-term mobility wish during their development review. That’s where we bring real value as HR."
— Maud Bourdrez, HR Manager, JobTeaser
• An HR Team at the Heart of the Organization
Thanks to the data collected in Elevo, JobTeaser’s HR team is proactive and can focus on high-value tasks: supporting employees in their career projects, helping them develop, and fostering constructive exchanges between employees and managers.
• Improved HR Agenda Management
"Elevo is part of every step in our HR calendar. Naturally, training needs collection and prioritization now happen directly on the platform. That’s also where we identify mobility opportunities, lead essential HR Business Partner actions — such as providing support on work-life balance matters — and handle compensation topics. For us, linking compensation to Development Reviews is key. These reviews help justify salary increases: How have I progressed in my work? Have I gained new skills? Can I move from junior to experienced level?"
— Maud Bourdrez, HR Manager, JobTeaser
• Ongoing Change Management Improvements
The HR team at JobTeaser continuously challenges itself and welcomes feedback. Recently, they ran a survey on Elevo to gather employee opinions on the latest campaign. They also held retrospective workshops with managers to collect feedback on implemented processes. The HR team regularly iterates to refine and improve the system.
