The digitization and centralization of interview campaigns on the Elevo Talent Suite: Trace One’s story

Context

Trace One is a software publisher whose main clients are leaders in the retail sector. The company employs 500 people across 10 countries.

In 2019, the company adopted the Elevo Talent Suite to digitize its performance review campaigns. This successful rollout enabled the HR team to easily manage and centralize all interviews.

Within the HR team, Amandine Viglino serves as Global HR Business Partner and is the project lead for all Talent Management initiatives at Trace One. Upon joining the company, Amandine quickly noticed the difference between Elevo and the tools she had used in other organizations.

Rather than using multiple tools and switching between different platforms, everything is centralized in Elevo. For example, if we want to check the training plan or access information about our employees, we look in Elevo. I find it very useful to have all our campaigns and data in one place. Plus, Elevo is intuitive, unlike some HRIS tools.

The different review campaigns at Trace One

At Trace One, annual performance reviews (YER) are used to measure goal achievement and discuss employees’ career development aspirations. Employees also take part in a mid-year review to assess progress toward objectives and define any necessary action plans. The results from these campaigns are key for the company and are directly linked to its variable compensation policy.

In addition to these, Trace One conducts professional development reviews. For Amandine Viglino, these are far more than a legal requirement — they are genuine opportunities for meaningful conversation.

Professional development reviews not only help us identify employees’ career aspirations but also allow us to get to know them better. At Trace One, we have eight mandatory in-office days per month, which means we don’t often cross paths with some of our colleagues. These reviews are therefore a valuable opportunity to have in-depth discussions with our employees.

Globalizing onboarding and offboarding interviews on Elevo

Currently, Amandine Viglino is leading the global rollout of onboarding and offboarding interviews — a task made easier by using Elevo.

We used to have onboarding and offboarding interviews in each country, but the processes were not harmonized. The offboarding interview, for example, was on SharePoint, which wasn’t easy to access or use. I’m now working on globalizing and centralizing these interviews on the Elevo platform. For instance, after thirty days, each new hire will complete the onboarding template available on Elevo.
