How did Artur’In improve its performance management with Elevo?

Artur’In is a turnkey solution dedicated to the digital communication needs of small and medium-sized businesses. The startup enables local companies to increase their visibility, build credibility, and acquire new clients through digital marketing.
Since its launch in 2016, Artur’In’s business has grown at a steady pace — as has its headcount. Over the past three years, the company has grown from 40 to 170 employees, and it plans to hire an additional 40 people in 2022.
HR challenges
Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer at Artur’In, is responsible for supporting this expansion from both a logistical and strategic perspective. In 2020, one of her missions was to adapt the performance review and goal-setting processes to the company’s growing size.
Although the company already had structured evaluations and a well-defined objectives policy in place, relying on Google Sheets was starting to show its limits. The use of Google Sheets meant numerous time-consuming tasks (such as duplicating templates and sending manual reminders) and a higher risk of formula errors.
Why Elevo?
In 2020, Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac set out to find a Performance and Talent Management tool that met the following criteria:
- Simplified management of review and goal-setting campaigns
- Scalability
- Flexibility — the evaluation model already in place at Artur’In needed to be easily migrated to the platform
- Automation of low-value-added tasks
- Access to the full history of reviews
1°) Customer success support
After benchmarking several solutions, Daphné sought feedback from her HR peers, and Elevo stood out for the personalized support provided by its Customer Success team.
“What tipped the scales in Elevo’s favor were my peers’ feedback about the Customer Success team’s support. The HR community really highlighted this point.”
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In
2°) Simplified management of performance review campaigns
Another reason Daphné chose Elevo was its streamlined and customizable management of review campaigns.
« On Elevo, questionnaires can be customized within campaigns to include both self-assessment and manager assessment. It’s easy to track campaign progress and send reminders, which saves time.»
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In
What also made a difference was that Elevo allows the automatic assignment of reviews based on the users’ country, a major advantage for Artur’In as an international company.
« It’s possible to manage questionnaires in multiple languages, which is particularly valuable for Artur’In as we operate in countries such as the United States and Ukraine. »
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In
3°) An intuitive tool
Finally, Elevo’s intuitive interface ensures that all employees can quickly adopt the platform.
“With Elevo, we’ve guaranteed our employees an optimal user experience.”
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In

Artur’In’s campaigns on Elevo
Twice a year, Artur’In’s HR team uses Elevo to launch its performance review and goal-setting campaigns. But they have also expanded its use beyond the initial scope, introducing development review campaigns and onboarding assessments on the platform.

The benefits of Elevo for Artur’In
Elevo has had a significant positive impact at Artur’In, particularly in the area of performance management.
1°) Managers engaged in goal management
Before adopting Elevo, Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac entered employees’ individual goals herself into Google Sheets, as allowing multiple users to input data increased the risk of errors.
Elevo changed that dynamic: thanks to its ease of use and reliability, goal-setting and tracking could be delegated to managers. They are now more engaged in managing their team members’ objectives and tracking performance.
“Beyond the logistical advantage, managers are now directly involved in performance management.”
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In
2°) Corporate objectives accessible to all employees
At Artur’In, individual goals are clearly defined and closely aligned with the company’s corporate objectives. Achieving these individual goals is tied to the payment of a variable bonus.
Before adopting Elevo, managers were responsible for presenting corporate objectives to their teams. However, without an HR tool that allowed employees to easily and continuously consult the company’s strategic objectives, these often faded from view.
Elevo has brought clarity and alignment by enabling all employees to access not only their individual goals but also the corporate objectives directly on the platform.
“Thanks to Elevo, employees now have access to the corporate objectives that partly determine their variable pay. It’s more transparent than before, and everything is centralized in Elevo.”
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In
3°) An HR team focused on managerial support
Elevo has allowed Artur’In’s HR team to save time and focus on supporting managers during review campaigns.
At Artur’In, members of the HR team — in their role as People Partners — help managers prepare for performance reviews.
More specifically, People Partners will:
- Read self-assessments
- Discuss areas for improvement with the manager
- Review points of divergence between the manager’s evaluations and employees’ self-assessments
- Discuss proposals for salary increases or promotions
- This process ensures fair and consistent evaluations, which is critical when pay raises and promotions are at stake.
“Elevo enables us to prepare evaluations with a focus on their qualitative dimension.”
- Daphné Vauclin-de Calbiac, Chief People Officer, Artur’In
